The main goal in the HIP for *BSD project is to prototype Host Identity Protocol (HIP) for *BSD operating system. Currently, the development is done mainly using FreeBSD. One of the main objectives is to co-operate with other implementation projects and inform people via the HIP mailing list about issues concerning implementation problems.
